Admin Coordinator – Manufacturing Plant

Portland Hollowcore is in need of a full time ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR for its precast concrete factory outside Durbanville. You will work alongside the Factory Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the plant. We expect the possible candidate to be able to:

  • Firstly manage & maintain all admin for the factory plant
  • Assist the Factory Manager with all admin tasks related to the management & smooth operation of the factory (Paperwork, procedures and capturing of incidents, accidents, toolbox talks, etc.)
  • Manage all communication between the factory and the office (which may include emails, calls, reports, etc.)
  • Liaise with the design office and the installation office regarding delays, returns, etc.
  • Collect and capture all factory data and compile the necessary weekly & monthly reports (Lane prepping, casting, batching, waste records, quality records, etc.)
  • Manage and run all admin & processes related to the concrete printing machine – ensure all data is accurately printed & captured
  • Assist with admin related to staff attendance, absenteeism, meeting records, clocking, timekeeping records, etc.
  • Assistance with production planning
  • Conduct weekly & monthly checks – Stock of panels, raw materials, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Matric + relevant tertiary qualification / experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & POWERPOINT
  • Good communication skills
  • High level of literacy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy
  • Own transport
  • Work references

Working hours :

  • Monday – Thursday: 07:00 to 17:30
  • Friday: 07:00 – 15:00
