Careers: Financial Administrator (Creditors)

Portland Group is looking for a full time FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR (CREDITORS) at our group of companies. Our office is situated outside Durbanville on the Vissershok Road.

This position reports to the Financial Manager. Responsibilities will include but is not limited to the full function of creditors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing of All Entities Bank statements
  • Reconcile all bank accounts
  • Preparing Weekly payments & CSV bank import file
  • Issuing of order numbers
  • Receive delivery note, match to PO and to Invoice and signed quote. Dispute if different
  • Capture Supplier invoice on Augtool
  • Recon of Supplier Accounts
  • Requesting of invoice not received, liase with supplier regarding discrepancies
  • Compiling monthly creditors payments file and CSV bank import file
  • Intercompany invoicing
  • Processing of Petty cash, preparing for payment, allocating
  • Updating Aitable with Supplier BBBEE Certificates

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Matric qualification
  • Professionalism and the ability to multi-task
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office and adaptable to use other software
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Own transport
  • Work references

This position offers a market-related salary – dependent on qualifications and previous experience. Employees become members of a provident fund after their probation period. The annual close down is in December/January during the builder’s holiday. Working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00, but only until 15:00 on a Friday.
